Our Hostel

Our centrally located Victorian heritage accommodation guest house has light and space, lots of boutique charm, free Wifi access, carparking, kitchen, lounge and laundry facilities. There's a travel desk, friendly staff, and late check-in is available.

Our Rooms

We offer quality budget accommodation in double rooms, twin rooms, single rooms, four or five bed multi-share rooms (no bunks!) or sunny family rooms. Private rooms have LCD TV. All beds are made and we have FREE WiFi internet access.

Dorset House is located in a quiet street in the central city. So close to everything - just 4-8 minutes from the airport bus, the Intercity National Bus Depot, the Naked Bus/Atomic Bus depot and 5 minutes from local bus services. 

It's 30 seconds to leafy Hagley Park. You can walk to Merivale or Riccarton for shopping, pubs, supermarkets and dining, or enjoy the cafes, restaurants and quirky shipping container bars 2 minutes away on Victoria St. Walk 8 minutes to the Museum, Botanic Gardens & i-Site Visitor Information or just a little further to the new Cashel Mall 'Restart' Shopping Precinct.
