We have a wide range of room sizes to suit your needs. Our centrally located hostel is next to Hagley Park and around the corner from the bars and cafes on Victoria St. Choose Dorset House for your stay in Christchurch.
We guarantee that guests booking directly through our website will pay the lowest possible rate advertised for our rooms.

6-8 Bed Bunk Room (bunk beds)
We have multiple bunk style rooms, when booking this room
type you will placed in either a 6 or 8 bed bunk room. The
bed is made with a fitted sheet, you will also find a duvet
and flat sheet at the bottom of your bunk. Blankets, lamps
and heating are provided. All dorms have plenty of light and
are close to our shared bathroom facilities. Our dorms are
20m2. Dorset House offers free unlimited WiFi access
throughout the hostel.
8 bunk beds (which are booked by the bed rather than room),
heater, bedside tables with lamps and mirror. Access to
well-equipped shared bathrooms.

4 Bed Bunk Room (bunk beds)
Our Bunk Rooms have 4 bunk beds. The bed is made with a

Our Dorm Rooms have* 5 separate single beds (no bunks)*.
Beds are fully made and each has a lamp. Blankets, lamps and
heating are provided. All dorms have plenty of light and are

throughout the hostel.

Our Single Rooms are a private room for one
person. They are 5.5m2 or larger and close to our
bathrooms. One of the Single Rooms is an internal room with
a window opening into the hallway to allow natural daylight

Family Accommodation
We also offer Family Room with one queen bed and one single
bed (sleeping 3 people). These room is filled with sunlight
and located on the first floor. Dorset House offers free
unlimited WiFi access throughout the hostel. These rooms
cannot be booked on line, to check availability and pricing
